11月8日，黔南民族师范学院与皇家金边大学联合举办了一场别开生面的“2024千人海外留学计划”项目线上宣讲会，旨在深化两校学生交流，提升国际化教育水平。会议吸引了来自两校的百余名师生代表及多位嘉宾参与，包括柬埔寨教育、青年和体育部高等教育管理司副司长Song Soksan，中国—东盟教育交流协会柬埔寨分会会长苏昌宏，金边皇家大学多位领导及专家，以及跨步国际学校校长周江等。
黔南民族师范学院党委副书记黄明辉在致辞中表示，学院始终致力于国际化办学，近年来通过与包括柬埔寨在内的多国高校合作，取得了显著成果。他指出，教育合作是增进两国人民友谊的重要纽带，希望未来双方继续携手，为培养具有国际视野和创新能力的高素质人才做出更多贡献。
柬埔寨教育部代表Song Soksan则高度赞扬了黔南民族师范学院在国际教育领域的努力。他表示，柬埔寨高校对与中国高校的合作充满信心，希望通过这一项目促进两国教育事业的共同繁荣。
宣讲会中，金边皇家大学详细介绍了其学术优势、特色专业及对留学生的支持服务。他们期待吸引更多中国学生赴柬交流学习，并表示将深化两校在学术研究和人才培养方面的合作。跨步国际学校校长周江则为此次交流项目的具体安排进行了细致讲解，为学生提供了切实的指导和建议。

Qiannan Normal University for Nationalities and Royal University of Phnom Penh Successfully Host the “2024 Overseas Study Program” Online Information Session
On November 8th, Qiannan Normal University for Nationalities (QNU) and the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) co-hosted an online information session for the “2024 Overseas Study Program.” This event aimed to strengthen student exchanges between the two institutions, enhance international education, and broaden students’ global perspectives. Over 100 representatives, including faculty and students from both universities and distinguished guests, participated. Among them were Song Soksan, Deputy Director-General of Higher Education at Cambodia’s Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport; Su Changhong, President of the Cambodia Chapter of the China-ASEAN Education Exchange Association; as well as several senior staff and scholars from RUPP and other institutions.
Huang Minghui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of QNU, delivered an inspiring speech, warmly welcoming the Cambodian delegation. He emphasized the university’s commitment to international education, highlighting its fruitful collaborations with Cambodian universities in recent years. Huang stated that educational cooperation serves as a bridge for fostering friendship between nations and expressed hopes for deeper collaboration to cultivate high-caliber talents with global perspectives and innovative abilities.
Song Soksan praised QNU’s achievements in internationalization, acknowledging the promising results of cooperation between Cambodian and Chinese institutions in talent development and cultural exchanges. He expressed optimism about future collaborations to advance the education sectors of both nations.
During the session, representatives from RUPP presented their academic strengths, highlighted key programs, and outlined support services for international students. They expressed their enthusiasm to welcome more Chinese students and to strengthen collaboration in academic research and talent development with QNU. Additionally, Zhou Jiang, Principal of Stepping International School, provided detailed information about the exchange program’s schedule, preparations, and practical advice for participating students.
This successful event not only deepened the partnership between the two universities but also offered students a valuable opportunity to expand their horizons. Moving forward, QNU and RUPP will continue to collaborate in talent cultivation and scientific research to develop globally competitive professionals.
